Hello, my name is Pastor Timothy Collard. Welcome to the website of the Faith Baptist Church of Pekin, Illinois.

It won’t take you long to notice that this is a site in transition - a work in progress. There are many areas that are outdated and need improvement. We know that a multitude of changes need to be made. But I am not discouraged because I know that we are moving in the right direction. You will notice that some areas are very nicely done. We are slowly making improvements and positive strides toward a quality finished product.

That reminds me of the verse which says, “He that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” This is true about our “work in progress” website. But it can also be said about me and the entire congregation of Faith Baptist Church.

God is working in our midst, and we are delighted. Our people are changing, growing, learning, and becoming more like Christ. If you are looking for the perfect church, I am afraid you will need to keep searching. But if you desire to unite with a group of believers making positive strides and heading in the right direction, then we invite you to check us out.
