Rev. Timothy Collard has been the senior pastor at Faith Baptist Church since August of 2007. He previously pastored two churches in Michigan (1981-1998) and one in Wisconsin (1998-2007).

"I am thrilled that the Lord has called us to Pekin because there is great potential here.” Pastor Collard adds, “Faith Baptist Church is an established ministry with a faithful and solid core group of believers. We have already seen the Lord work, and I am excited about what He is doing. I believe there are good days ahead for our church."

At the age of eleven, Tim realized his need to have his sins forgiven. He accepted the Lord as his Savior during a junior week at Camp CoBeAc in northern Michigan. A graduate of Tennessee Temple University (Bachelor of Science) and Northland Baptist Bible College (Master of Ministry), Pastor Collard is currently enrolled at Northland in the Doctor of Sacred Ministry degree program.

Pastor Collard and Sandra have been happily married for 29 years. They are blessed with two children, Elizabeth and James, who are pursuing their education at Maranatha Baptist Bible College.

Mr. Ken Seest came to Faith Baptist Church in August of 2002 after 14 years of teaching in Lancaster, PA. He serves the congregation in a dual role. Mr. Seest is the assistant pastor of the church, but his primary area of ministry is as administrator of Faith Baptist Christian School.

The Christian school is a vital part of the overall ministry of Faith Baptist Church.  Mr. Seest capably directs the educational process, teaches a class or two each semester, and manages a staff of twelve.

Ken was raised in a pastor’s home. At the age of six, he understood his need of a Savior and was led to the Lord by his Sunday School teacher.  Mr. Seest is a graduate of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College (Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/Bible) and Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania (Masters in School Administration).

Happily married for 20 years, Ken and his wife Amber are the proud parents of six children: Hannah, Ruth, Philip, Faith, Hope, and Stephen.
